Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Growth Spurt?

We thought LO was going through a growth spurt a few weeks ago but after the last two nights I'm wondering if maybe he's having one now.

The last two days he's been snuggling and sleepy earlier than normal, for naps and bedtime. Then during the night he's up eating formula every 2 hours. Eating 6 oz. every 2 hours and in the day he doesn't seem satisfied with his bottles and food. He's drinking far more formula than he should be but he will not be satisfied with water (he's drinking plenty of that too).

What do you think? Growth spurt or do we need to doing some tough cry it out love?

Re: Growth Spurt?

  • I think there is a GS at 10 months. Wait a few more days to be sure.

  • DD has been eating bigger bottles per feeding and waking up around 3:30 almost every AM for the past week for another bottle.  I am hoping she can SSTN tonight.

  • Thanks Ladies!

We gave him a couple extra night and its getting better. I think he's been so hungry because he's insisting on feeding himself and not filling up on solids like he does when we feed him. We'll see! :)
