Nutrition requirements

Daily nutrition requirements for a toddler at 2 years old:

3 ounces of grains, 1 cup veggies, 1 cup fruits, 2 cups milk, 2 ounces of meat.

My kid eats almost that amount at each meal, aside from the grains. This is insane to me. Are your kids pretty much on par with that?

Any other massive over eaters out there?

Let the record show that DS is a little string bean, so I don't know where he puts it all!

  • That sounds about right for Skyler.  She eats a whole banana for breakfast with Cheerios 2-3 times per week so I guess that would be 1/2 a cup of fruit and 1-2 oz of grains.  For lunch she has about an oz of meat, 2oz of grain and 3-6oz of ve

  • I don't now if she eats that much in a day. Definitely not in one sitting.

  • Addy probably eats right around that in a day, maybe a little less. 

    Edit- but as far as the milk she just BFs 4X a day, no other milk. Cheese and yogurt though.
