Babies: 3 - 6 Months

19 weeks. Baby stuck to me like velcro

I am blessed to be able to work from home and have a care taker here to help with my LO. I work full time and since I am BF'ing, the baby sitter will bring LO to my office area every 2-3 hours for a feeding. My LO has grown very fond of his sitter (she's been coming since he was 8 weeks) and everything has been peachy until lately.

I know LO is teething like crazy and he has had some rough moments as a result but would teething be the reason that no one but me seems to do for the little guy? He FREAKS out unless I am holding him and bless everyone's heart that tries to make him happy, its just NOT going down.

It's hard to hear him upset in the other room and know that I would be able to soothe him. She isnt doing anything wrong, he just simply wont tolerate anyone's attention but mine right now. I thought it was kind of early for this type of attachment or anxiety from seperation.

I cant pump very much at all so this isnt an possibility as far as letting her feed him for me. Even my husband has a hard time right now making LO happy. any suggestions or will this time pass? I dont want to mis-step and go down the wrong road but I dont want him to lack comfort either. Its been a LONG week for my sitter. We have paid her extra and given her some gifts to try and make up for this week, I hope she hangs in there.
