Is this true...I know it can all be different but jw if any of you have done this. I have medical mutual....how would you go about doing this if you know?
Many but not all insurance companies cover breast pumps. Mine didn't, unfortunately, but I was glad I called to find out for sure. If it's covered, they should be able to give you the details of what you need to do to get it.

I had heard with Obama Care all insurance had some sort of coverage on this effective Jan 1. We had to buy ours though b/c at the time ours didn't. Worth investigating.
I recently called my insurance company to get the details and I am covered as long as I purchase the breast pump from one of their authorized providers, I was given a list of the providers and have found that most of them have the Medela Pump I want so
I logged into my insurance online and checked my benefits, my insurance will cover a pump rental from the hospital at 100%. You have to check with your insurance provider.
