Tooth Pain

Pregnancy pain and discomfort isn't enough evidently...At least once a week I have been up all night and in pain all day from tooth pain.  Just over a year ago I had a tooth that needed a crown, when they got into it I needed a root canal, ugh.  I have avoided the Dentist since.  Now with all my other body changes and the morning sickness since day one my teeth have been getting it bad and now I have the same pain and small hold in the other side of my mouth and clearly need another root canal or two and some fillings.  I know at this point it's not safe to have the work done less than 2 weeks from my due date.

Tylenol doesn't even touch the pain, any suggestions?

Re: Tooth Pain

  • I was looking for this exact same topic last night when I was up all night and in pain from my tooth. I had gone to the dentist 3 weeks ago and was told I needed a root canal, but I ended up having a panic attack and the dentist just gave me antibiotic

  • Interesting. Did they give you numbing meds etc? My ob said if possible to wait but this is just awful!

  • Yea they used Novocaine.. my ob said it was fine and wouldn't hurt the baby at all. I would really give it a try. I actually had a good night's sleep last night and felt amazing. I wasn't able to tolerate that pain anymore. I didn't even need to take tyle
