Talk to me about soft carriers

I am pretty sure I want a soft carrier for my DS but I can't decide which one.  I was planning on an Ergo because I heard they were good for carrying little boys (more comfortable on their private parts) and I have heard from lots of people that they love it.  But then I found this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003YDWU30/?tag=lucslis-20 on Lucie's List (a Beco Baby carrier) and then a friend told me about these https://www.babytrekker.com/index.htm and now I am really torn.  I know in the Ergo they can't face the front when carrying forward facing so I don't know if I want that one now.

What I am mainly looking for is something that is comfortable for me and DS (and DH because he will probably use this one too) and something that is easy to get on and off.  Thanks!

  • Any carrier you get you want to make sure the seat part spreads all the way out to your babies knees once the are large enough to be carried legs out. As a newborn they tend to be carried frog-legged. Its not so much about comfort of a boys genitals as

I did like that the beco works out of the box for small infants. Now that adS is a hefty 25 lb

  • My best friend has an Ergo and wore her daughter for two years, until she was too pregnant to wear it comfortably. She wore her everywhere and nursed in it super discretely. Because she loved it so much (and I did too when I wore her), I wanted one for

  • I have a Catbaby pikkolo and love it! You can use it front forward facing and it's ergonomic like the ergo so it will be comfy for baby. It also fits the little ones better but will fit baby through toddlerhood. It also has the option to be worn with the

  • I have an Ergo and used it tons and tons with DS. I'm 28 weeks pregnant so I'm not currently using it because carrying a 28lb toddler is just not comfortable for me no matter what but DH still carries him with ease. I even hiked 7 miles with a crazy verti
