Any tricks or suggestions for switching to milk?

Hello Ladies!

I am having the worst time switching from formula to whole milk. I have tried halving it and it was a disaster. I even tried the toddler formula and that was a waste too. I am at my wits end.. One will take it, but the other will just spit it out and then it becomes a game between the 2.

When I asked my Pedi about this she reccomended making fruit smoothies with it. I mix greek yogurt in or frozen fruit and have slowly started to scale back what I add. DS loves it!

I started by just putting one ounce of milk in and the rest of the bottle as formula. Do one ounce of milk for 2-3 days, then 2 ounces for 2-3 days, etc.

I slowly mixed whole milk with his formula in a bottle. I started by doing 4 oz formula, 2 oz whole and I would shake it together. Then after a week I did half and half, and then 4 oz whole milk, 2 oz formula. Finally by the 4th week it was all milk. DS l

Have you tried a different brand? My dd will only drink horizon organic.

We put a baby spoonful of vanilla yogurt in her sippy and she drank it that way. It took about a week until she didn't need the yogurt at all anymore.
