Hi, I'm popping over from PGAL. We are looking at cribs these days and we already have a great twin/trundle set in the room that we'll use for the nursery. I know that some cribs can be converted into toddler beds.
My question is whether every baby will eventually need a toddler bed? Or can they just go from crib to (close-to-the-floor) trundle to twin? I have no idea what's considered safe or best practice.
If you have a toddler or older child - what did you do?

We have a 3 in 1 crib for M right now. DH & I had a conversation just the other night, we think it's time to get him into a twin bed (we are going to need the crib for v2).
So, it won't be used as a toddler bed or a twin headboard type bed
