Advice on baby acne

My LO woke up yesterday with a terrible rash on his face. I went to the doctor today for a weight check and had her look at his face. She said it is just baby acne. She said to wash with water and mild soap and that's it. Just curious if anyone has dealt with this before and used anything that helped. I feel so bad for him...it looks pitiful!

    if youre bfing rub some expressed milk on it. both my babies had it, luckily it comes and goes pretty fast!

    There's nothing to do for it. All babies get it and its completely normal. Just let it go away on its own.

    I agree, it is gone before you know it.  Don't put anything on LO's face.  Just wash with water like your pedi said.

    My LO had that and I ended up changing from normal Johnson's baby soap and lotion to their sensitive skin kind and she cleared up right away..


    I have a Daughter born 2/26/2013. She is pretty much amazing!

    I swear by California Baby Calendula Cream. Not just for baby acne, but all of those minor scratches and mild eczemaish spots from the dry air here. All gone within hours.

    My little guy has it too. His doc said just leave it alone, keep his face clean and it should clear up within a few weeks. I know what you mean about feeling bad for him. . . but really it doesn't bother him at all I am sure.
