Pregnant after 35

Intro to me, 36 1st time preg.

Hey everybody. I'm new here. I'm 36 years old, will be 37 this month (ouch). I'm 15 weeks and so far everything looks good. I've had 2 u/s already and both were good. I'm due September 29th!

I'm just now starting to let myself get excited. My DH has been over the moon since we found out, but I've been taking my time. Yesterday in Walmart, I almost bought the cutest onsie, but stopped myself because we don't know the sex yet. (I think it's a boy so that was what I picked up). Anyway, I think I'm finally "there" and ready to accept that I'm going to be a mom! What a blessing!

I guess I'm always expecting the other shoe to drop. I try not to be that way, but I always seem to fall into that trap. Hopefully I can start being more upbeat and happy.

Thanks everybody for all the great info and questions! I appreciate the support!

  • Congrats to you and your DH...my DH is so excited...he's spent several days assembling nursery furniture and is almost done painting the nursery.  I'm excited but even at almost 20 weeks don't really feel pregnant.  We found out we are having a
