Pregnant after 35

jumping right in

Wanted to say hello and introduce myself before jumping in. I'm almost 35 and expecting baby 4. We have 2 boys ages 10 4 and a 19 month old daughter. This was a very unexpected surprise. I'm still getting used to the idea of a party of 6.

I was wondering if just by our age does that necessarily consider us high risk? I'm just trying to figure out what to expect. Thank you :

  • I was 36 at conception/ 37 at delivery (any day now) and I'm a post gastric bypass patient. Both of these things will get some doctors to list you as high risk, but my doctor hasn't put me in the high risk category at all. SO, it really depends on your do
