We bought a crib!

Please allow me to AW for a minute. I am so SO excited!

DH and I purchased (online) our convertible crib last night! We weren't going to, but came across a small fortune of unused prepaid visas and amex cards we've been given over the past two years from our work. We never had anything to do with them, and found them a bit annoying actually (they could only be used online, and had a bunch of other ridiculous limitations).

We were going to buy a simple Ikea gulliver crib and a bassinet, but when we found the gift cards, we realised we could get the crib we really wanted. We paid for nearly half the cost with our gift cards. We've been eyeing this bad-boy up for a while now, and I'm positively over the moon about it!

I just had to share with you ladies, since I'm so excited!! It's being delivered to my in-laws house in the states in a couple of weeks.

Since we're in such a small place, we really don't have room for anything but a bassinet for the first few months of baby's life. So this is the perfect crib for us. When baby needs a bigger sleeping arrangement, we'll move into another place with a second bedroom and set up the crib.
