Especially if you have 2u2 experience...
What do/did you do to keep your older LO from playing with the baby toys? Anything? Or do you just let them?
I started just letting L play with the swing and bouncy seat as long as the baby isn't in them, because she's not above the weight limit and it didn't seem worth the fight. I pulled out the activity mat for the first time today and A loved it. But L was all over it. She's obviously not old enough for me to trust her to just sit and play with the baby in there. I tried distracting her by asking her to play with me with her toys, but she wouldn't have it. She just kept throwing fits when I backed her up from the mat. Then she threw a fit when I finally had enough and took the baby out and put it away.
Anyone else deal with something similar? How did you handle it?

DD1 was just about 19 months when DD2 was born, and most of the time I just let her play with the baby stuff. I was too tired to fight her on most of it, so as long as she wasn't trying to climb into the bouncy seat or swing with the baby, or lay on to

there is not "your toys, their toys" in our house....we take turns. I tired and tired to get the girls to each to play with their own toys but they always end up wanting what the other has. and honestly I find myself buying two of everything now, my LO
