Zoning out

J has in the last year - or so - started to zone out. He just stares at something for a periode of time untill a noise comes or he "realise he is staring".  He has been increasing these "out zonings" more frequently recently.. From once or twice a day - to four-six times a a day..

When he does not do this he is an active child who does all kind of childlike things :)

Everything from singing, dancing, seeking other people, playing alone and with others,,

  • It's probably nothing but I'd definitely check with your pedi. Absence seizures sound like what you're describing and since the episodes are increasing in frequency, it's worth getting checked out.
