Natural Eczema Remedy?

DS has been battling with horrible dry skin. He itches his legs constantly, to the point of breaking the skin. Ive tried several different lotions including two different ones specifically for Eczema. (aveeno and babyganics). The Aveeno worked for awhile, but now even that isn't helping. I also tried using CJs BUTTer. We are only doing baths about every 2-3 days.   I'm at my wits end.  Suggestions?

    I know the best natural remedy for eczema is breast milk,it help to heal the skin very fast and the eczema won't came back again,I used it,when my LO was a few months old,I also use witch hazel,and olivo oil,you can also put some oatmeal on his bath,but m

    Thanks. I've had people suggest olive oil or coconut oil so perhaps I will try that. Unfortunately I don't have any access to BM. 

     As for food allergies, its definitely been on my mind. Going to have to look into that!

    Here are some suggestions. This is from personal experience--DS has eczema-- and from all the research I've done.

    First, eliminate all environmental irritants. Stop using any conventional store bought product, even if they are marketed as natural

    ditto PP.  Also go on the databases at EWG to check your products for potential irritants and maybe find better ones.  (dr bronners and earth mama angel baby are rated really well)

    Ditto what steph said. Does your son have other issues such as respiratory problems, behavioral problems, Chronic ear infections, sleep issues, etc? Usually eczema runs with other issues and a gut healing diet may be in order.

    The key to eczema treatment is moisture. It's kind of an old-school practice to limit baths for eczematous kids. I know an allergist who has a lot of success with the "soak and seal" method. Soak him in the tub for at least 10 minutes, til his fingers are
