Dinner on the go suggestions

I posted this on a cooking board, but got no responses so hoping to here.  I am in that season of life where kids' activities are starting to take over weeknights.  When I've got to get to Bball practice 45 minutes after piano, I would really rather not get fast food nor have sandwiches every night of the week.  I am SO not creative in the kitchen, help me out please!

  • Pasta and stirfry are my go to quick meals. Can you make a quick stirfry and throw it in a pita or wrap? Pasta in a thermos...?
