Spring themed potluck - dessert help!

We are having a Spring themed potluck at work and I am in charge of the dessert. I was thinking of doing either lemon bars or lemon cupcakes with a blueberry cream cheese frosting.

Unfortunately I've never made either and the potluck is Wednesday so I don't have any time to do a trial run. Does anyone have any go-to recipes that are fail proof? I'm open to other ideas as well. TIA!

I'm just going to copy this from the book but the lemon dessert we usually do is this...

First Layer (we always double the crust)

1 cup flour

1/2 cup butter

Mix and press into a 9x
