Sleep training

We are sleep training and paci weaning cold turkey this week for baby J..... I need a hug and chocolate.

We weaned A at 6 months from both and he has been an awesome sleeper since, J used to be a decent sleeper but since the 4 month wakeful it has been downhill so DH said it was time. It's going to be a long week.

I will air mail some chocolate chip cookies to you tomorrow! Hang in there - your DH is probably right - it might be easier now than later...like my DS who is 27 months and still using a paci for sleep. Yeah, not looking forward to that.

For us sleep training was sooooo much easier with number 2. Good Luck! I think it was a combo on knowing it would work (I mean we were 99% sure it would work again) and sleep would be much better. I didn't have those FTM fears of "ruining" my baby with

Thanks for the well wishes! Yeah it worked really well for A so I'm thinkin it will for J too... But in the thick of it or the MOTN times just stink. Good luck Mands! I haven't slept a whole night since 2nd triish I'm really looking forward to a full nigh

We didn't have to wean from paci, but DD was similar in that she was a great sleeper up till 4 month wakeful. I was patiently waiting for her to turn 6 months & not be sick, so I could sleep train. She's doing really well with it. Frida
