So DD is on table food and has been since about 8 months. We switched to wcm about 3 weeks ago and she has usually two bottles a day plus, either wcm, juice or water in a sippy cup through out the day. She is still getting used to the sippy cup so she does not drink a whole lot from it. Anyway, today she had what I called her "first big girl poop" lol. It was really not funny though because it must have hurt her because she screamed! Has anyone else experienced this? I am wondering if she may be constipated or is this what her bm's will look like now that she is not on formula....

I had the same question as you. I think my daughter always boarders on constipation though. Ever since we introduced her to WCM it has definitely been messing with her. Wish I had some more answers for you! I am definitely going to ask next week at her 12

I would love to know what the doctor says! DD has never really had a problem so I'm guessing its just herself adjusting to the new milk and all. I just felt awful for her because she was crying like it really hurt :

I bought some apple prune juice and have been giving extra pears which thankfully she loves : yesterday it was a bit better so hoping it helps!

Pooping should never hurt them, so I wouldn't assume it's the new normal. She was probably a bit constipated, or passing a large hunk of something she swallowed.

Thanks for the advice and alternate ideas. So far it's been looking good so she must have been a bit constipated. I guess I just didn't know what to expect with switching to WCM and all.
