DH ended up with today off, thank goodness - he was at least able to shed some light on the situation. If he hadn't been here for me to ask, I would have assumed he was playing a prank on me.
So...I hadn't gotten around to putting the clean clothes away, but they were all folded in the laundry basket in our room. I went to get some undies out of the basket, and they weren't there. Strange....and bad because I didn't have anymore in my drawer.
I went to ask DH if he had put them away somewhere since he had put his clothes away.
Apparently HE didn't put the clothes away - he walked in one day to discover that DS was stuffing all of the clothes into DH's bottom dresser drawer. DH put away his stuff and pulled out what was mine. So DH suggested checking that drawer. No undies there. I checked the other drawers, under the bed, a couple of different spots - no undies.
Jokingly, I've asked DS several times, "Where did you put my underwear?" and every time, he looks up me, smiles, and says, "Yes."
So....I have no idea where they are. Luckily I found a pair hiding at the back of my drawer.
Edit for update: I'm soooo embarrassed. I was doing laundry, opened up the dryer, and everything that was missing was still in the dryer. I then remembered that they hadn't been dry, so I had to leave them in a little longer, and I guess I forgot about them. Oops.

DD2 looooooves to put clothes away. I just have to stalk her when she does otherwise things go missing. Good luck finding your missing undies!

DD is also a little laundry thief. I find our clothes in her room stuffed in her drawers, and vice versa, all the time!
She's also infamous for mixing up the contents of the dirty and clean clothes baskets.
DS likes to help me fold the laundry. This usually entails him throwing clean clothes all over the living room floor, and occasionally trying to dress the dogs. Hilarity ensues. Poor pups.
