Rec a good Formula

I've been EBF and trying to pump one bottle a day so DH can feed at night. Recently I've been having bug trouble getting a bottles worth of milk from pumping. I'm thinking of introducing a formula bottle for that once a night feeding and to have as a back up.

LO is 4 weeks old today, eats well and has gained weight well. She is however pretty gassy and fussy after eating. What formula do you ladies reccommend?

  • We've been using Similac, which we haven't had any problems with. But it's just cuz we had so many samples and a friend gave me hers, that's just what we've used so far. I had a few people tell me that generic is the exact same and 1/2 the cost. For examp

  • For DS, we supplimented with Target's Up & Up sensitive stomach formula.  I did the same thing as you're talking about doing, but I'd pump during the feeding that DH gave formula at.  So, I ended up with a stash.

  • We used GoodStart Gentle with DS1, and are now using it with DS2 for one bottle a night just like you're talking. Anything else seemed to upset their tummies. Also, I like that it doesn't have that yucky formula smell. At least not as much.

  • We have been supplementing with Targets up and up the one that is comparable to similiac sensitive. It even shows on the box comparing ingriedanrs between the two.
