  I had PP bleeding for 7 weeks after my c/s, so we waited about a week after that.

  I did at 5 weeks pp but I healed really fast. It just hurt because it was dry up in there so I waited a little longer after that and had to use lube for a while till I was not always dry.

  Wait until your dr gives you the ok. The reason they tell you to wait 6 weeks is to avoid infection. After a vaginal birth, besides the tearing you might have had, there's an open wound in your uterus where the placenta was attached. It needs to heal.
