Socialization "concerns" vent

I hate when people make comments about only children having less socialization. Having a sibling doesn't equal socialization. What social benefit does a 2 or 3 year old get from a newborn? EVERY parent should be concerned about peer socialization. Making sure my kid is not socially awkward does not require me to keep popping out babies thankyouverymuch.

I can only speak anecdotally, but most of the most socially awkward people that I know are people who have siblings. My most extroverted and up-for-any-new-situation friends are onlies. Nothing is absolute.
