DS was 10 weeks Sunday and I am still not cleared for sex.  I had a traumatic delivery with 4th degree tearing.  I've had a long hard recovery.  I am missing sex though.  I really miss being with my husband.  He's being so great about it and he knows that when I am cleared it will be a long road to hoe as I know it will be painful for awhile.  I just wish I could jump his bones like the old days.  Anyone else still not cleared?  Anyone else have 4th degree tearing and have had sex?  I'm excited to get back on the saddle but also terrified it will be too painful!

    I had third degree tears and was cleared for sex at 7 weeks (at 6 week appointment she said to give it another week to finish healing). Since then we've done it 3 times and it is not fun for me at all. 

    No one mentions this when they talk ab

    I had a csection and was cleared at 6 weeks. We've done it twice and both times were really painful.

    I know missing the intimacy is hard but seriously give yourself some time. 4th degree tearing is no joke! I can't even imagine.

    No tear here, but I had a C-section (4 mos ago!) and my incision is finally closed as of this week...so after my appt on Wed. I'm assuming I'll be good to go!  Poor hubby, it's been near 5 mos. since the last time!  I'm slightly apprehensive abo

    I had an episiotomy with Ds and my recovery was just awful. Sex was awful for months after. I definitely say give it time. Rushing things was a bad move on my part bc the pain was so bad it made me scared to have sex! 

    But I only needed 1 st

    Thanks ladies!! I know it's going to be awhile still before it's enjoyable.  My doctor is the one that is encouraging me to try once she gives me the ok.  She says it's important for my relationship with DH to start having sex again but says it
