Wth?! Need some help!

Ugh!  I'm super confused/annoyed/disappointed!  I had my second mid cycle u/s today (1st one cd13 & today cd17).  On cd13 I had a ton of follicles but they were all really small, 10mm was the largest.  Today I had a different u/s tech and she couldn't find my ovaries and when she finally did she measured about 2 on the left side and said "I think that's about all I'm gonna see over there" and moved on to the right side.  At the end of the u/s she was showing me the numbers and said the biggest one was 9mm and all others were 7-8mm then said "we'll see what your bloodwork says, maybe they're there I'm just not seeing them"...what?!?!  Those numbers sound exactly like my cd13 scan except that the biggest follicle has shrunk??  Is that possible?  Is it possible they just haven't grown at all?!  Am I just being hormonal and thats why I'm upset with this u/s tech or are my upsets valid??  HELP!!!

DH (Isaac)- 28 All clear
Married 7/22/05
TTC since Sept '05
Metformin 1500mg
HSG 1/21/13 All clear!
3/13 - Clomid 50mg, days 5-9+ovidrel+TI = no response, induced AF
4/13 - Clomid 100mg, days 5-9+ovidrel+TI = 1 mature follicle - BFN
5/13 - Clomid 150mg, days 5-9+ovidrel+TI = no response, induced AF
7/13 - Clomid 200mg, days 5-9+ovidrel+TI = no response, induced AF
8/13 - Gonal F+Ganerelix+Ovidrel+TI+progesterone suppositories = BFN
RE break due to major health issues of my MIL
Began clean eating & TTC naturally for now

    Try posting this over on the regular infertility board.  If anyone has any insight, we'll respond over there.
    Married 8/2008. IVF with PGD March 2013.
    3/22 ER: 25R, 20M, 15F. 9 genetically normal, and 3 survived to Day 5
    3/27 ET: transferred 1 embryo, beta 9dp5dt=163, 12dp5dt=639
    4/25 1st ultrasound at 7 weeks = identical twins with heartbeats?!!!
    PPROM at 31w, delivery at 32 weeks of two beautiful girls
