mini pill

Can you share your experience taking the mini pill?  I'm thinking about starting it at 6 weeks pp since I'm EBFing.  I plan to BF for 6 months.  Should I switch to the regular birth control after that?  I don't want to get pg again for a couple of years, but know the mini pill isn't completely effective.  Has anyone gotten pregnant on it?  Thanks.

    I used it when breast feeding then switched to the full pill when I weaned. Worked for me with no noticeable side effects and definitely didn't get pregnant in it!

    No personal experience but the mini pill does a high failure rate.  I have at least one friend who got pregnant on it while BFing.  I would use condoms or something more reliable if you dont want to get pregnant.
