When did you LO start liking these? So far whenever we put our little guy in one, he cries- so he's ether being held or lying flat on his back in the newborn napper on our coffee table.
ETA: for those on mobile, he's 5w4d (1w4d adjusted).

E loved the swing from day 1, but never took to the bouncy seat. She prefers to be on her back though. I think it's part of her comfort zone, since she's been sleeping flat since birth.

My baby has never been super into his swing, even now he'll hang in there just for a bit. He liked his bouncy seat right away but preferred to be held especially in the beginning. I would say he started to gain more independence around two months.

Swing works well for my kids...papas an cradle swing.
Bouncer is a hit or miss depending on DD's mood. We have two. One is a very old hand me down that sometimes works and the other is a gently used one from Sassy with ladybug motif.

We never had a swing, and only used her bouncy seat when we were eating or in the shower (and we never actually remembered to put batteries in it, so it never vibrated or anything). We held her or I wore her, or most of the time we would let her just lay
DS enjoyed the swing pretty much from the day we brought him home, but never liked his bouncer.. Maybe 5 or 10 minutes tops, but with intermixed fussing, where as the swing he was quiet the whole time...
