Bouncy seats, swings, etc

When did you LO start liking these? So far whenever we put our little guy in one, he cries- so he's ether being held or lying flat on his back in the newborn napper on our coffee table.

ETA: for those on mobile, he's 5w4d (1w4d adjusted).

E loved the swing from day 1, but never took to the bouncy seat. She prefers to be on her back though. I think it's part of her comfort zone, since she's been sleeping flat since birth.

DD has loved both since Day 1, especially the bouncer. She does have times that she does not want to be put down no matter what though.

My baby has never been super into his swing, even now he'll hang in there just for a bit. He liked his bouncy seat right away but preferred to be held especially in the beginning. I would say he started to gain more independence around two months.

Bouncy seat - never
