What specifics should NOT go on a registry?

in 2nd Trimester
FTM and I started browsing the stores yesterday - I need basically everything but was curious, other then clothes what should NOT be placed on a registry?

    Anything not baby related. I also wouldn't register for diapers, just because you don't know if your LO will leak through certain brands, or have allergic reactions to others.

    I disagree with other post.  Register for everything you want - baby related - even diapers.  If there is a brand you think you want to go with register for them.  even if people don't buy them you will get the 10% off (if its Target) when

    Like pp's said, no personal items (A bath robe for you, etc). Bibs, socks, hats (anything cutesie, little and gender specific) i'd advise against registering for. People love picking those out themselves. Butt past is also apparently one lots of people lo

    I wouldn't register for anything non baby related. I think things for mom are okay, like breast pads, nipple cream, ect.

    I also wouldn't register for clothes only because people will buy you ton of clothes anyway and more then likely it won't eve

    The only way I would suggest registering for diapers is if you plan to do cloth, that way people are aware. (I have one kind of cloth diaper on my registry just so people will see it and put two and two together) Registering for disposable is kind of a

    I agree with PPs.  I would stick to stuff for the baby not  items for personal use ( except of course a breast pump), or items for older children or for the household.

    I completely disagree with the people telling you not to register for diapers.  We put diapers on our registry and put multiple sizes.  Some people do actually use the registry and they were able to see how many boxes of each size were alread

    Even if you don't register for diapers, you're going to get some! People almost always add a pack of diapers to the gift they have already purchased, at least in my experience.  I would leave them off of the registry so that you will get a good mix o

     Yes it was planned, yes we know what causes that, no we are not on public assistance, and yes we will be getting cable after this. ;)

    I've never seen diapers given at a shower and I have been to plenty. I registered for one pack of NB and one pack of sz1s. I don't know why really. I may not keep them on there since they are cheaper at Costco and such.

    Toys and books. You will get lots of them anyway and people have fun picking them out on there own.  I would stay away from lotions and soaps, for allergy reasons, too?

    I registered for high end brand of sensitive skin diapers to reduce the chances of leakage and allergic reactions.  We didn't have to buy any for 8 months. I understand the hesitation, but for us it worked out really well.  Other cheap option
