Sunscreen

Every time we are at the pedis, he stresses how fair E is and how she needs sunscreen every time we go outside.

Do you put sunscreen on LO every time you play outside?

Has anyone found a sunscreen for babies that goes on dry (or like regular lotion) that isn't sticky, messy, or sweat-inducing?

    We use Coppertone Pure & Simple for Kids. We really love it.

    We use coconut oil for everyday play and Neutrogena Free & Clear for all day trips to the zoo or whatnot.

    We put it on if we know she's going to spend a lot of time outside, like today, where we went to a festival. I applied before we got there and again a few hours later. She looked pink after a while, so we got her in the shade, but I think it was just the

    We don't do sunscreen every time we go out, but if he's going to be outside playing for a long period (playground, beach, festival, zoo) we'll put sunscreen on him.  We use either Neutrogena Pure and Free or Episencial.

    We were told that unless they're spending long periods of time outside not to do sunscreen or sunblock. Our pedis have just suggested hats, lightweight jackets, or other ways of keeping them not in direct sunlight for too long.

    Only if we will be outside for more than 2030 minutes so in the winter, never. I am very fair also and a big proponent of sunscreen use but we DO need some sunlight/vitamin D as well.

    I try to avoid having her out in the height of the afternoon sun, but when we are planning on being out (like at the pool) I put on Nutrogena Pure & Clear. I am very fair, so I just try to do with her what works for me.
