Birthday Parties

Cake

I'm using a mickey's clubhouse theme for my sons birthday party on July 6 and am looking for a baker to make his cake. I've gone to the usual places all the grocery stores, bel air bakery, costco, etc and thy either don't have what I'm looking for or are asking way to much. It will be a small party maybe only 25-30 people. I'm even interested in people who run their own bakery. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. Pm the info.

Re: Cake

  • The problem with using licensed characters is at legitimate businesses need to get a license to use them, so they usually just pick a few of the more popular characters.  I think you should look into finding someone with an edible printer and asking

  • I'm not sure if you are a baker, but I'm sure Wilton has some kind of pan for a Mickey Mouse theme (I know you said Mickey's Clubhouse, but in my opinion, I think if you did just Mickey's head shape it would be really cute!).

  • Lol, I'm the farthest thing from a baker but I have seen some cute toppers on etsy actually.
  • I'm doing Mickey Mouse Clubhouse too as my sons 3rd birthday and have looked all over.  None of the stores do anything, they simply put a tiny mickey character on top, but not much else in the way of decoration. The molds I have found are just mickey
  • We did Minnie Mouse last year.  We got a costco cake and had them do large pink polka dots on it.  This was the best option for us since Minnie Mouse cakes are too expensive.  You could do the same with red dots for Mickey Mouse.
