St. John's Wort and Levonorgestrel

Would St. Johns wort affect the effectiveness of the Mirena? Specifically would taking a moderate dosage daily over a several month period make pregnancy with the mirena more likely? I have read legitimate material that suggest both that it would and that it wouldn't. I will be asking my midwife about this soon but i would love any input that any of you ladies have :)
