Does anyone feel this way?
When I deliver him in DC, I am completly fine and feel relaxed about having the day without him in school, at home or whatever..
However, when it has been 2-3 hours I deeply miss him. I think if I could manage to pick him up before he falls asleep, to spend more time with him.
When I am with him I do not feel a need to hold him or do anything in particular - but I feel happy and grounded when I feel like I can just reach him - or get random hugs during the day.
Re: I miss my son (all the time)
I feel the same way you do. I know you're in school and not work yet, but unfortunately I think I'd have to say "welcome to the world of the working mom". :-(
Sometimes it's great, many times it's no fun though. Hugs <img s
It's funny - I don't feel guilty about working and leaving B, but I do miss him. Monday's are usually the toughest, especially if we've had a fun weekend.
But I love picking him up at the end of the day and getting my hugs and kisses.
