Hi ladies!
My beautiful trio turned six months old yesterday. I'm so very proud of them! The smiles and laughter we get from now ate amazing. Anyway, they were born at 31 weeks. I know immune systems develop at 33 weeks, so like you we've been ridiculously diligent about lock down, germs and visitors. As RSV season starts to end, I have a question. Is immunity always going to be an issue with them? Or can your immune system become "normal" given enough time. If so, how long? FWIW my girls don't have any other health issues. They've all had a cold and recovered within the week. I'll be sure to ask the dr at our six month check up next week, but sometimes I feel he's a little laid back about prematurity issues.
Thank you for your input!
