Leg pain during c-section

Im just curious if anyone experienced what I did during my last c-section. Im having my 3rd c-section in September and the only thing I am really nervous about is the intense leg pain I had during the surgery. I had a spinal and while I was laying there(while they were working on getting our baby out), I had such painful leg cramps on the front of my legs, (right below my knees). The only way I can describe it is it felt like there was an elephant sitting on my legs. It was so painful and I was supposed to be completely numb and paralyzed. I felt conpletely helpless and it really took away from the whole experience. Im just wondering if anyone else experienced this kind of pain? Im planning on talking it over with my ob as it gets closer to my due date.
