Sportin' a shiner

Violet stepped on my eye, Friday night as we were "snuggling" on the floor. Granted it is not horrible, but it is very noticeable. It is just my lower lid that is light purple and swollen. It hurts like a mofo. Crying I can't imagine a full blown black eye, yikes.

I had to work this weekend so I felt like people were thinking I was a battered woman. Ugh. Luckily I didn't have to help customers.

Toddlers are dangerous.

You and li will be sporting matching shiners, she fell off the slide at the playground today. And I thought I was going to have one the other day after she kicked me in the eye.

I got headbutted in the nose this morning and it brought tears to my eyes. I kept waiting for my nose to start bleeding but it never did. No marks left behind, but I had a headache behind my eyes for an hour afterwards.

Oh, that stinks. Toddlers are dangerous. I thought DD broke my nose the other day when she head-butted me. Hopefully the discoloration will go away quickly.
