My LO has been on Nutramigen for 3 1/2 weeks and we are randomly getting blood in his diaper. He will go a few days then wham its back. Usually its in the morning and then is gone. My pedi wants him to go another 1 1/2 weeks on Nutramigen. Other than the blood, he seems to be doing well. Growing well, eating well, sleeping well, good demeanor, but a little spitty.

My pedi said that it could take months for the blood to completely clear up, and that I shouldn't be too concerned as long as its not increasing in amount/ frequency.

Is there any allergen in the Nutramigen that could be causing the problem? I don't know anything about it, but I do know that when my daughter was a newborn the doctors had me try dairy and soy free (bf-ing) because of blood in her stool, but now that she

I took my son around 7 weeks of being completely dairy and soy free to no longer see the blood and mucus.

We thought we were in the clear after 4 weeks, but then saw it again once this week (5 weeks). My pedi also said it could take a few more to be completely gone.
