Personally I prefer Madeline, it just looks more traditional to me and was on our short list because it was my great grandmother's name. However, I am a stickler for avoiding mispronunciations so I would go with Madelyn if that matters to you.
Proud babywearing, breastfeeding, vaccinating SAHM of 2U2!
I think Madelyn is the way to go to avoid mispronounciations. My DD#2 is Madeleine and that throws people for a loop, is it -lynn vs. -line, but we still like the spelling and wouldn't change it even with the occasional mispronounciation. <

Re: Baby name spelling ? Opinions please
I pronounce Madeline - Mad-elle-line
And Madelyn - Mad-elle-lynn
If that helps
Thanks Ladies! I guess Madelyn makes the most sense.
