My son just received 3 tonight. It was awful!! I was out to dinner with my husband for a nephews bday. And got back and dad (he's an emergency doctor) had left to get supplies. My son 16 months, was running on hard wood, slipped and fell and split open his bottom lip. Then the putting in the stitches, oh my word this mom was in tears.

Re: stitches anyone?
We haven't had an accident like that, but we have had our fair share of bloody situations! No fun holding down a screaming child.

When my DD was a year old she flipped a chair over at daycare and it cut her right under her eye pretty deep. She ended up getting stitches. It was definitely hard watching it get done and knowing there was nothing I could do to help!
