We use Swaddlers during the day and Baby Dry at night. We like them both but I agree with others that the Swaddlersi have a softer feel and I do like the wetness indicator on the Swaddlers.
I found baby dry to be just as good, it only leaks if you go a really long time without changing, like 10 hours. I can change my babies diaper before bed and no leakage when he wakes up. I don't need a yellow line to tell if he peed, it's easy to tell
Swaddlers are much softer and have the pee strip. They also seem a lot more flexible and move better with baby. We've used Baby Dry too and they were fine but I prefer the Swaddlers.
I thought the baby dry were maily used for overnight and the swaddlers/cruisers were day time. I heard the baby dry can hold more than the others. Who know but the all work well for us!
Ditto everyone else. Plus, since the Baby Dry don't come up as high on the belly, I've found that there is a much greater risk of up-the-back blowouts. If you switch to BD, get a size bigger than what you'd buy in the Swaddlers.
I like them both equally. Swaddlers are a bit softer, but they both work well. Baby Dry is not cheaper than Swaddlers (at least at my Walmart). I use them both and just bought two packs on Saturday and they cost exactly the same.
Re: Pampers swaddlers vs pampers baby dry
Swaddlers/cruisers are the premium diapers and therefore you get less per package
Babydry are the more economical diaper and aren't as absorbent or soft
