Vericose veins from hell ?! Help any info would be great.

Hi, I am 22 weeks along and have only gained 10 pounds, have a pretty acrive life nothing sever just normal life stuff 2 kids 15 7 and a partially disabled father I help care for. Recently I have developed what seems to be vericose veins but they are higher up from the normal ones i have seen on womens legs. I have never had any problems with them myself but after having alot of pain below my belly and southern regions : my husband to be looked and said it looked like veicose veins only bigger. So I did some quick research and I do not have any of the reasons to have such HUGE issues I looked with a mirror after he said what it looked like and holy cow it is scarey. I see my Dr friday but am curious if I should try to get in sooner. Had anyone had these before. 99 of research I read says they are painful but not usually harmful but since i dont fit the typical criteria i am concerned. Any suggestions ?

  • Agree that compression socks/stockings can be a huge help, but definitely mention and show them to your dr at your app't.
