Reflux

My lo is 4 months and has been on alimentum and Prevacid since one month. Just got an increase in Prevacid for increased weight, now lo is having trouble taking bottles, refusing getting fussy etc.

 

any ideas?

    Have you tilted LO's crib so they sleep on an incline?  There's a solution called "Colic Calm" that could help with gassiness.  It helped my LO and she's been on Prevacid since one month as well.  Why is LO using Alimentum?

    Oh I will get that, it helps lo take a bottle? Alimentum for milk protein allergy... No incline in the bed, he moves around all over and is in a mini crib. What are you using for a wedge?

    We used a board under the mattress to prop it up.  It's just a 2X4 on its edge, but it tilts it enough to get gravity to help hold stuff down.  We learned a trick in the hospital...  Take a long beach towel, roll it length wise so it res

    Definitely incline the bed and make sure you're holding your LO up for 20 minutes after every feed. Reflux peaks at 4 months and also with teething.
