I couldn't get this picture to load but it said, "They shouldn't call it sleeping like a baby, they should call it sleeping like a husband."

This cracks me up because it's so true! DH is so good with the baby but he could sleep through a hurricane without waking up. a couple of weeks ago DH went to bed and I ran to the grocery store. I brought him the video monitor and he actually said that wasn't a good idea because he probably wouldn't hear it. WHAT?! Before having DS our youngest dog would start to get sick in the middle of the night and I'd jump out of bed. There's a reason women have babies and not men, haha!

Serrrrriously. There's a reason. MH can only handle loud cries from DD for about five mins, max. Then he walks away, saing: I just really need to walk away right now. I don't think I can handle it.

So true!

DH sleeps right through any early morning feedings, and I bring DS in bed to feed him. DH doesn't even stir when LO cries during burping. I would never be able sleep through that. I wake up for every whimper and sigh.

Yep! Some mornings I'm in DS's room feeding him and hear DH's alarm going off to get up for work. I have to yell from the other room to tell DH to turn his alarm off because he doesn't hear it. So forget him waking up hearing the baby!

Mine is the same way too. I could set a screaming baby right next to him, leave to go make a bottle, come back and he's still sound asleep. Nothing. I'm up at every little sound. Must be nice DH.
