"exotic" baby foods

What's the oddest or most "exotic" food your baby has tried and did he/she like it?

My girl has tried felafel and hummus and just tried yellow curry sweet potato. Loves them!

    The oddest thing would probably be sauerkraut. He loved it! I've been having a craving for tikka masala lately. I always do mild, so I'm sure he'll try some when I order it.

    All of the above minus saurkraut... but we don't eat it either.  I've never tried it actually.

    He loves chilli, Santa Fe chicken, tacos and I make them all fairly spicy.

    She's had and enjoyed Indian a few times, usually saag or malai kofta, and she loves the samosas.  She's had Middle Eastern and Mediterranean, and she seemed to enjoy those as well.  Chinese was a hit.

    cherimoya  fruit, we have a tree in my backyard, so he eats quite a bit in smoothie form

    The only thing we haven't tried is Indian but I'm excited to - she loves everything! DD's current favorite food is eggplant, and she also loves olives, pickles, anything sour.... The other day we went to a nice restaurant and she split rabbit paparadelle
