I am trying to decide whether to have newborn photos done, and am pretty much out of time at this point - a decision needs to be made because he is almost not a newborn anymore. Anyway, I was shocked to learn how expensive these shoots are, and am interested in hearing from others who have had them done, either with this LO or another. Are they really worth the price? Would you do it again? TIA!

Re: Newborn photos - worth it?
I think so. I didnt do them with my first and I regretted it, so I did them with my second.
i didn't do them with DD, but didn't regret it. since having her i have started doing photography as a hobby, i acquired a DSLR and some lenses and took a few classes. i did my own with DS.
i have used picture people and jcpenney in the pas
Ideally, you want to do NB photos in the first week, but if your's is still pretty sleepy, I'd go for it. We did DS's when he was alittle over a week old and he was WIDE awake the whole time and they came out just ok. We did DD's when
We did. I wasn't too keen on it but my husband wanted them so we did...and now that we've got the proofs I am so glad we did. Our photographer said between 5-10days old is the best as baby is so sleepy they can be posed. After that it
Definitely worth it. I know a lot of people who didn't get it done and regretted it. I love mine!! DD was about 2-3 weeks old when we had it done.
I used a professional photographer and they were great. She took some of DD awake, some
This exaactly.
