My daughter is 8 months now and isn't very into bottles anymore. I primarily breastfeed with some formula for daycare when I can't pump enough. She has had daycare bottles since 6 weeks of age with no issues. Now she's on solid food and loves eating solids. She'd probably gobble down twice as much as we give her if we let her. Now she's starting to take less and less milk and just the past few days she's refusing her bottle. She still will nurse no problem and takes solids like it's going out of style. I work so I can't nurse for all the milk she needs at her age. Any advice on getting her better with the bottle? For now I just nurse as much as I can and have family mix milk in with solids when I'm not around. It's almost like she's trying to wean off the bottle entirely, but she's too little to do that so I have to fight the battle.
Re: Bottle strike
We just went from slow flow to
We use a straw cup or the hard tip ones...she couldn't quite get the hang of biting down on the soft tip ones.
