Just out of curiosity....How long are you planning on breastfeeding?? I keep setting small goals for myself - the first was to get through three months and see how it was going, now I've reset to the 6 month mark. I love it for the closeness and health benefits but to be honest, I am over pumping when I am away from my LO. Yesterday we were downtown for Opening Day of Tigers baseball and I had to bring my pump and discreetly pump in the backseat of my car...in a parking lot....while tailgating!!

I have been figuring all along that I'd stop once she gets teeth. Was over pumping before began. Am only doing it occasionally, mainly if I have a sleepy baby and am short on time to be able to nurse both sides before it is time to leave for work.

I set small goals for myself too... Next up is 6 months! Ultimately I would like to go until DD wants to stop, but if we made it to 2 years I would probably start pushing her to wean at that time... We'll probably start trying for LO number 2 around that

Props to all you Mommies for such long-term goals! I definitely want to follow suit as long as my supply will let me!! I worry about it dropping when I go back to work as I won't be able to pump as often as I feed when I am home. We shall see!!
