South Florida Babies

growing up is hard to do....

we've had a rough past few weeks (kids sick ...neverending) and today is the first day in a long time that I actually have been able to sit down and think. My baby will be one is just a little over a month, and I don't think I have ever been this sad about someone's birthday. I can't even think about panning a party....

I truely cannot believe how much time has flown (you think time flies with one? wait until you have TWO).

Suprisingly enough, I don't have the baby itch (yet) but DH does. Funny huh?

just had to whine....

  • Babyhood is the most bittersweet thing ever.  I find myself wanting to burst into tears when I look at Nicky's infant pictures.  I cannot believe how much he's changed...its like a totally different child. It makes me so sad that he won't stay this little forever.

    Hugs...I know how you feel...

  • It's so bitersweet, isn't it?  I'm so glad your boys are feeling better.  I'm sure his birthday will be much better if he's well!

    Hugs!

  • I am so right there with you! Tony and I were talking the other day and I said Logan will be one in 8 weeks and I started tearing up. It sucks. I want to bottle this time up forever.

How do we make them stop growing???

  • I'm soooo happy that your boys are feeling better!  If your DH really has the 'itch' he can stop over anytime to watch Spencer while I take a nap! We'll then see if the itch has been scratched!

  • I feel exactly the same.  Elijah is a little boy now...he has outgrown the "babyness".  Time just flies by - enjoy your boys!  I know I just had Chelsea but - I wish MH had the itch!!  I would like another please...

  • V- I am right there with you. Quinn will be 1 in ONE WEEK. I am excited but so sad at the same time. My little boy is a walking, talking 1 year old. Gosh, I still remember Quinn and Nate "sitting" on the chair together at your house when they were newborns- as if it were yesterday.

DH totally has the baby itch. I have mixed emotions. Daycare is insanely expensive up here so baby #2 will be on hold for a bit.

Glad the boys are feeling better. We were sending prayers and good thoughts your way.
