Ugh... I love that this board is to the point where you can ask questions, get advice, support one another with good constructive criticism but in a nice
way. How long did it take to get that way? On my other board someone said she didn't get gender reveal parties and I explained because it was fun and my family was really excited and wanted to be involved. I know there is going to be differing opinions but when people straight out say its to get attention, it ruffles my feathers. Why are people so rude when they disclose their opinions?!

    Just a note about gender reveal parties...DH had never heard if it until last week friends of ours did it. He was so mad that we never did that and now he's considering another baby. LOL!

    I'm doing one when I get pregnant next. Eli got 2 showers (trust me, not because I wanted 2), so a small GTG with friends and family to celebrate my next LO will happen in form of a gender reveal party.  Doing both for 1 baby is a little AWish IMO

    I'm not a huge fan of gender reveal parties (we were Team Green anyways), but I wouldn't turn down an invitation. Especially if there are cupcakes involved!

    This board was never too snarky. The boards thin out as some people have a loss and then after babies are born. I think after awhile you feel like you know some posters and don't want to be rude snarky.
