Bed sharing

Hello, this is my first time posting here... I hope you all are having a good day... Here is my question... DD is 6, and I'm expecting a boy on 9/9/13... We have a king bed, and we sleep very well... But with the new addition, I'm a little worried... Mostly because I don't want DH or DD rolling over the baby... DD wouldn't want me to sleep with the baby and let her sleep with DH... Should I get a twin bed for her and put it next to the big bed? Get a cosleeper? I'm not sure I would like that...since I like the skin to skin contact... Any thought?

    We used the First Years close and secure sleeper for the first few weeks and a cradle next to the bed after that.  We have memory foam and DH is a big guy and he was nervous about rolling over baby. The little bed is cute, cover is washable so you ca

    We moved our 2 yr old to his own room until he wakes during the night and then he sleeps on a floor mat in our room next to my side of the bed. It's gone very well. The new baby sleeps with me. DS was a little jealous, but got over it. We started it waaay

    I think it depends on your long range plans for where your older child will sleep.

    If you are planning on keeping her sleeping with you for a while longer, perhaps co sleeper is the best plan.  From one side of the bed to the other you could

    High School English teacher and mom of 2 kids:

    We have a queen bed pushed up against our king bed for DD. it works great and we all sleep so good!
