Baby movement before/ during labor?

For STM's or anyone who knows, is there an increase or decrease in baby's movement right before labor? During active labor, does baby kick and move or stay still?

I'd imagine its different for everyone but I noticed LO's movements decreased before labor & he also wasn't too active when I was in active labor. I should note that the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck though.

I don't remember a decrease in movement before labor, but I was induced. I was moving around a lot during active labor, so I didn't notice much movement. I did notice a big kick right before my water broke and with my last pushes. I think he was helping h

I distincly remember feeling DD1 move and kick in between contractions.

My lo was active before and during. I could hear and feel him kick during contractions while in active labor. I think it's different for everyone though

For me I didn't notice a change in movement until labor began. I then felt more and he was kicking the monitor over and over again. When I was dilated to about a 3 or 4 I stopped feeling movements.
